Medieval Festival in Montevettolini

On next September 10th in Montevettolini, there will be the 15th edition of the Medieval Festival. This event will begin at 4 p.m. and go on until midnight. Those who will have the chance to visit the festival will be immersed in the past and in medieval suggestions. A Medieval Festival with a great participation

In 2010 there were nine thousand participants for the Medieval Festival in Montevettolini. The festival is organized by the cultural organization Rondò and the Monsummano municipality. In the afternoon of next September 10th there will be shows for all ages, with musicians, minstrels, acrobats and other typical people of the Middle Ages. There will be also jesters and soldiers, witches and charlatans to enjoy adults and children.

The garden of Villa Medicea open for the Medieval Festival

On the special occasion of the Medieval Festival in Montevettolini on September 10th 2011, the prince Borghese will open the doors of Villa Medicea. It will be possible to admire the secret gardens of the villa. From the Villa Medicea there is a wonderful view on the castle and on the Montalbano. The historian Emanuel Carfora will guide guests through the gardens of Villa Medicea. A party will be offered by Fattoria Medicea.
